Hey Guys! Welcome to the Kitchen Table Stamper Online Classroom!
I am excited to share three card tutorials with you today. My cards feature a line art stamp set called Catch Ya Later and an embossing folder called Gingham from the Stampin’ Up! 2022 January June Mini Catalog.
To create the cards in this class you will need a line art stamp set and embossing folder of your choice. You might want to gather a small flower punch, like the one from Strawberry Builder and a sprig punch or die, I used the Bough Punch.
Since your stamp set is line art, gather a coloring medium. I used ink pads and and Water Painters.
Please use the papers you have on hand. I used the designer series papers from the 2022 January June Mini Catalog Sampler Celebration. I offer a paper sampler with each new Stampin’ Up! catalog where you can get a bit of each paper, some new embellishments and a card class to get you started crafting. This is the card class from the 2022 January June Mini Catalog.
Again, welcome to the Online Classroom. Let’s get started!
Our first card is one of my favorite go to layouts the 3 x 3″ and 3 x 1″ or 1-1/2″ designer series paper pieces divide even into a 6 x 6″ or 12 x 12″ designer series paper making this the perfect pattern for multiples.
We are going to do a embossing folder technique called faux letterpress in this card too. Just think of how exciting all those embossing folders just got! Ha ha! I love making something old new again.

Next up is a fun background technique you can do with the Simply Scored Tool. Make lines vertical, horizontal, diagonal or make crisscross, with varied spacing and different directions, the sky is the limit.
The other fun tip here is layering images. Do you see how the monkeys just come to life when you stamp there little faces and pop them up?

Last up, embossing the whole card front is fun as long as you are careful! Be sure to pay attention to the video and make note of how to do this technique in a way that is safe for your folders.
We are making a spray of dimensional detailed flower to decorate this card. Notice how the addition of a 1/4″ circle punch brings an new layer of delight to our simple small punched flower?
