Kitchen Table Stamper November 2020 Online Classroom – Wrap It Up for Christmas Class

Hey Guys! Are you ready to Wrap It Up for Christmas?! I am so excited about this class! This is my favorite class of 2020. Let’s just get started, ’cause this is some excellent holiday crafting!

Santa Throne Treat Box

Our first project is the sweet Caramel Santa Thorne treat box. You can get these Palemer’s Santa’s at Dollar Tree or Meijer. These are a sweet and in expensive way to spread some holiday cheer! Here are a few photos to help you along the way. The first is the box template followed by adhesive placement photos:

Chapstick Treat Box

I love these little chapstick totes! They are fast and practical and I think you can give this gift to anyone – young or old, male or female, strager or best friend. Who doesn’t need a lip balm this time of year? You can usually find the candy cane flavor at the check out stand in your drug stores and discount stores. I always look for these holiday assorted packs at Target and Amazon. Here are a few photos to help you along the way. The first is the box template followed by adhesive placement photos:

Gift Card Pocket

‘Tis the season for gift card giving! These pockets are a over the top beautiful way to present a gift card. You can make three pockets from every sheet of 8-1/2 x 11″ cardstock! Whoop! BONUS. Here are a few photos to help you along the way. The first is the box template followed by shot of the partial die cutting technique you will be using:

Candy Cane Pocket

A search all over the internet for the perfect candy cane pocket came up empty! I wanted a pocket that held a candy cane without the need to try the candy in with a ribbon because I didn’t want a ribbon to compete with my stamped bow. Simple fold and glue pocket look all bulgy so they weren’t making the cut either. This is the pocket design born of my search. I think this would be a lovely pocket for a fork and knife on your Christmas table, or fill it with Christmas pens and pencils and gift it with an activity book for younger dinner guests. If you use this no bulge pocket design for something other than candy canes, I want to know! Please share your fillers on the Craft Social or snap a picture and send it to me. Cookie Treat Box

We make refrigerator butter cookies for Christmas every year. They are a sliced cookie that just melts in your mouth. The butter cookie dough is rolled in Christmas nonpareils, refrigerated over night then sliced and baked. These boxes would be perfect for a half dozen homemade butter cookies. Maybe you have a traditional recipe that will fit too? Be sure to put a sheet of parchment paper in the bottom so the cardstock doesn’t get greasy. If you are not giving homemade this year, darn COVID, these Global Brand short bread cookies were a great find at Dollar Tree. They are wrapped in 4-count packages in the cookie isle. Be warned, I had to hunt for them. They are tasty and affordable, therefore hey sell fast when my stores get them. Here are a few photos to help you along the way.
