Poppin’ Up Spring Cards and Treat Box – Spring Break Craft Crate

Hey Guys! Today, I’m so excited to share a fun two-part project that comes together as one adorable coordinated set – a “Poppin’ Up” card and matching treat box! This duo is part of the Spring Break Craft Crate series, and it’s all about celebrating springtime, April showers, and blooming flowers in the cutest way possible.

And yes… there’s a little surprise inside too!

Project 1: Poppin’ Up to Say Hi Card

We’re making this bright and cheerful “Poppin’ Up” card!

It features a fresh and vibrant design with a gorgeous mix of textures, layers, and beautiful spring colors. Simple, sweet, and perfect for any occasion and it pairs perfectly with the coordinating treat box for a fun matching set.

Project 2: Poppin’ Up Treat Box

Next up is the coordinating treat box and it might just steal the show!

This little box is designed with a pinch-top squeeze closure, giving it that “pop up” effect when opened. It’s simple to assemble but looks incredibly polished once decorated.

Inside, it holds the cutest surprise an umbrella bubble wand!

It fits perfectly and ties right into the whole spring theme – Spring rain, umbrellas, and playful bubbles.

This “Poppin’ Up” set is such a joyful way to celebrate the season. From the bright florals to the playful bubbles, every detail works together to create something truly special.

I hope this project inspires you to join us live next week for a little more handmade happiness. We are live on our Facebook Business Page and YouTube Channel Friday’s at Noon Central time. Check us out on Social Media.

Notes of Spring Cut & Mix Cards and Crayon Box – Spring Break Craft Crate

Hey Guys! Spring is in full swing, and it’s the perfect time for cheerful, colorful paper crafting! Today, I’m sharing two fun projects from our Spring Break Craft Crate series: two Cut & Mix cards and a coordinating treat box.

Project 1: Cut & Mix Cards

Let’s start with the cards!

Cut & Mix is one of my favorite ways to jumpstart creativity. If you’ve ever felt stuck staring at your supplies, this method gives you an instant layout and gets your project moving.

How It Works

  • Start with two pieces of Designer Series Paper
  • Stack and cut them at 2″
  • Mix the pieces between the two card fronts
  • Create two coordinated cards

It’s quick, easy, and incredibly effective. It’s an easy way to take the guesswork out of designing while still getting a unique look every time.

The Cut & Mix technique is flexible – you can rotate, flip, or swap DSP patterns to create endless variations.

Project 2: Coordinating Crayon Treat Box

Now for the star of the set – the crayon box!

And let me tell you… this one is just so cute.

It’s the kind of box that makes people smile before they even open it.

What Makes It Special?

  • It’s compact but sturdy
  • It’s shadow box design is a delightful surprise
  • And it’s perfectly coordinated to the Cut & Mix cards

We used ours to hold adorable bunny crayons, but you could easily swap in:

  • Little notes or gifts
  • Wrapped candies 🍬
  • Small toys

A Sweet Treat Inside

This box is perfectly sized to hold the delicious Yoggies Yogurt-Covered Fruit Bites. You can often find the strawberry flavor at Costco, and the mixed berry flavor is currently available at Sam’s Club. They are also available on Amazon if you want the easy button option.

Why This Box Is So Great

One of the best features of this project is that it can be made with no adhesive and folds completely flat.

That means you can:

  • Create a large batch ahead of time
  • Store them flat without taking up space
  • Quickly pop them open and fill them when needed

This is especially helpful if you prepare items for craft fairs. Make them ahead of time in seasonal designs – fall, Halloween, Christmas, or winter and when it’s time for your event, simply pop them open, add the treats, and you’re ready to go.

February Product of the Month

Don’t miss out on the Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper, which is February Product of the Month.

You can get it for $5 with a $75 order while supplies last.

When you purchase the Product of the Month through me, you’ll also receive the Stamper Society Product Tutorial, packed with creative project ideas using that product.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope this project inspires you to make a few treat boxes to share with someone special.
