One Layer Card

A Muse Studio Touch of NatureIt was love at first sight when I found Touch of Nature in the A Muse Studio Catalog.  It was one of the first stamp sets I bought in 2012.  I really love it and I use it.  When my second Thursday stamp club decided on One Layer Cards for our swap this month – I was stumped!  I am not really super good at ONE LAYER cards…What do they have against layers anyway?!  lol. This is one of the two successful designs I happened to make.  I decided not to do this one for stamp club though!  I didn’t feel like coloring 15 more!  I stamped the Kraft cardstock with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored with Prismacolor pencils.  The background is A Muse Studio Sky ink applied with a dauber. What do you think?  Not bad for just one layer…right?  Leave a comment if you like it.  Maybe I will try the whole one layer thing again! Here is a supply list for this card.

  1. It’s the best card I’ve seen YET with this stamp set (and I have it, tee hee)…I’ve struggled coloring it correctly and end up leaving it black. This is totally amazing – you Rock one layer cards AND coloring. 🙂
