did you just thumbprint the ink into its lid and add a little water to make your watercolor inks?
Rhonda, I squeeze the closed ink pad so that the cover dips into the pad. Open up and there is some ink on the lid to paint. You can also drop a bit of re-inker on the lid and dip your brush in the puddle.
